For the late version of the 251/9 the main differences apart from the gun would be the ammo bins,repositioned radio etc at the rear of the fighting compartment - these are included in the DML kit and showm on the DML instructions.
The other item would be to remove the commanders seat and to add some anto skid in its place. I would suggest looking at photos of the AFV CLub 251/7 D "late" for guidance e.g Jamie Tainton's posting on planet armor or the photos Voyager provide for their PE set for the AFV Club kit - see PumaModels.com who sell the PE and have photos on their website.
