Yes that was a misguided response of mine, and the proposed project sounds like a good idea.
I don't have the DML 251 C 3 in 1 kit so I can't check things.
I did research the kit and the interior photos I found of the 251/7 C had rear stowage bins which are mentioned in PanzerTracts. I couldn't see these boxes on photos of the DML kit.
ALso Bob Oehler added these to his 251/7 D model in his recent Osprey book on the 251; however a surviving 251/7 D only has std rear seats (maybe it was a field conversion? I recall seeing mention of such conversions some where).
Photos of the bridges for Ausf C and D seem to suggest the bridge remained unchanged, also the brackets in the DML kit look of the same general shape as for the Ausf D, but I can;t comment on the exact angle.
