Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

By the way, there's a Small Scale forum here at Track-Link. It doesn't get a whole lot of activity, especially since I cannot access it from my home PC, but it's still a good place to get answers to questions such as yours.

Also, as far as model shows are concerned, down here in Florida, I see about a 10:1 ratio between 1/35th to 1/72nd (or 1/76th) entries. The only IPMS National convention I've been to was in 1999, and they had close to 100 small scale AFV entries. My main gripe is when model shows lump 1/48th scale in with "small scale". NOT a fair comparison, and it shouldn't be done.

I can't really speak to sales figures for small scale, other than to point out that there are several internet model shops that specialize in small scale. Check out the Links page on my site for more information, as well as links to many other excellent small scale sites.
