Sadly, I'd already done my job before reading your post!
I still didn't melt the male posts, I used Poxyran, I don't know whether it exists or not in your country, but it seems to be similar to your pool cement. I applied 3 rows of it, under 3 links.
Anyway, I tested it somehow and it seems to work fine.
I'm not planning to enjoy hundreds of running times, just to probe I could do it will be enough to me. RC boats are my passion. But some of the members (www.camne.com.ar) have already build 1/35 WWII tanks, from Panzers to Shermans to Ruskys, so maybe one of these days we can picture all of them together.
