The DML kit is a FlaK36 and can't be built into a FlaK18 without a lot of work. The cruciform mount is the defining feature in identifying a FlaK18 vs a FlaK36. The barrels were interchangeable and that's why you can see a FlaK36 with a FlaK18 barrel and the reason DML included it as an option in the kit. The new AFV Club kit is a FlaK18.
