Of course, this would have made it a little easier to determine whether or not the drawing had been printed the correct size.
Still, it is always a good idea to compare any scale drawing to known dimensions when you can.
The important thing to note is that when the measured dimensions in the "Heavy Tank KV" book are multiplied by the 0.985 correction factor they match up to the named dimensions in the second drawing to within a few millimeters (and the error can no doubt be accounted for by first, my poor measuring technique and second, by the method I used to round off the measurements I made as well as the correction factor which is also rounded off).
