HI Erik,
Well, these are expensive but ready made dioramas. One was a Bf-109G-10 that was shot down and another was a I-16 Rata (Jaguar JA63613), both to 1/35th scale and in resin. The Messerschmitt Bf-109G-10 was from Gunze Sangyo.
A Japanese company did make plastic aircraft to 1/35th scale. These were crude but just the thing for a battleground wrelic in a WWII Pacific diorama.
