There's not much work to do:
Cut off the bolts on the front plate and fill in the top so it appears to be a single piece of 80mm armour plating.
The track from the kit will do.
Cut off the muzzle brake of the 105mm gun included in the kit and reshape the end of the barrel. The mantlet needs a hole drilled in for the coaxial MG.
The commander's cupola needs the armoured deflector added, I guess make one from sheet plastic and putty.
The close-in defence grenade launcher needs adding.
It looks like the remote control MG was not added, it could still have the MG shield folded down or the base of the RC MG only. In this case the base will have to be added and the loader's hatches changed from front-back opening to side opening.
The side skirt armour are a bit of a mystery, they are "field modified", which looks like the crew cut down the mounting brackets so that the skirting was attached directly to the fenders. Any clear photograph of a StuG III G will do for reference.
There's probably a few more details too.
