Well Frank if you have a shop full of Tamiya 88s that you have to move then I'd agree with you but......... as a new owner of the AFV 88 (not the same gun but close) I can say that this 88 is so far in front of Tamiya's that one is a scale representation of a historical military weapon and the other is just a toy.
I’m also only at the initial construction phase regarding the AFV 88 but compared to the multiple Tamiya kits I’ve built over the past few decades the AFV kit looks to have the goods regarding the Flak18.
