Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

hello all,

can anyone help me ? I have a dragon btr 70 and the rubber wheels have this split grown into them.

the splits wasnt there when it was assembled about 8 - 10 months ago.

I have had this happen on two previous dragon kits with rubber wheels.
How can i stop them from splitting completely open ?

The rubber has had no adhesive applied as they are such a tight fit that it isnt needed anyway. they have been sanded lightly and airbrushed with enamels.

Will be most displeased to find out that I cant use enamels on Dragon kits rubber. It is the only "chemical" that may of caused this perishing.

has anyone built a Dragon kit and had the rubber wheels perish (split open) ?

regards

Adam
