Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

thanks,

I donot think i am adding turps or enamels in quantities to attack the rubber, it is dry as it hits the surface. furthermore, a chemical attack would work on all surfaces of the tyre that is painted, not just a single split per tyre.

on further study, the split also appears to be along a seam already in the tyre maybe opposite where the injection point is, and as the rubber is injected it is cooling and not bonding as it joins itself at other end of the mould.

dont have this problem with tamiya rubber.

regards asam
