Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

I can agree with you on that, but it seems weird though...I mean, it's a Japanese company and it would always seem like they (the guys that are in charge of making the miltary models) would have to have the same passion as you and virtually everyone else who models in Japan, Satoyoshi.

Also...with what you are saying about the modifications that would be necessary, it seems as if Dragon would really have to start almost all over with the kit (if it were to be built OOTB and be 100% accurate)

Have you spoted the area(s) that might be too long in the kit (the upper and lower hull)? It seems like if it's anywhere from what most people are saying, it would be around the front (the glacis area).

I recall over at Missing-Lynx though that someone (I believe he was from Japan) was saying that the Dragon kit is only 1mm too long though...and that the Tristar kit is 2mm too long...or something like that...

Glad to hear what most of you guys think...I know that I've said that you guys can be picky, but I don't doubt your guys' passion for the hobby :-)...we should always be happy with what kits there are, but it is true that we should always strive to improve upon them...

RC

PS Your English it actually quite good.
