That looks like a must for this project. Also there's one at the Military Museum of Southern New England in Danbury, Conn. I may have an opportunity to get up that way in the near future.
I have to get more familiar with the M1 vs. the M2. Evidently the M2 wasn't produced until 1943. I think it was used mostly in the Pacific. Issuance in late '43 and use in '44 sounds like it may not have played as large a role, if any, in the defense of Britain.
Also, I need to understand the use of the M1 vs. M2 in Korea because I am considering building for that war. I've seen references to both but why would they use the out-dated M1 if they had the improved model? Perhaps the M1's were up-graded.
This piece would look great with PSP's M4 High Speed Tractor! There's a photo of that set-up in Jim Mesko's Squadron book, Armor in Korea.
