according to my sources, there have been L/48 with just 3 return rollers. those were the late production Jagdpanzer IV L/48 changed in september to november 44. there are also photos that are proofing this.
L/48 all had ruber roadwheels while earlier L/70 had two front steel roadwheels.
for L/48 you'd need the horizontal standard Panzer IV exhaust.
watch out for changes in drivers periscope and machine gun ports!
