First, the Tamiya T-62 is actually something like 1/32.5 scale, not really 1/35. Best way to see this is to compare the Tamiya T-62 wheel with the Tamiya T-55 wheel. They should be the same, but alas, the Tamiya T-62 wheels are noticably larger.
Second, the most noticable change that needs to be made is a new turret. While the Tamiya turret is too "squashed" it also has a improper undercut under the main gun, a very noticable mistake.
