Frank,
I heard the same thing from a few people, although a few sites rated it a very good kit, worthy of an investment. But after considerable research, it doesn't seem to be worth the investment as far as a Sherman kit goes, not for $38. One question, it seems alot of people aren't too happy with some tracks that are in their kits, as you mentioned with the Sherman. I had to replace the ones on my Elephant with the ones from Jaguar, they were sweet.
I was thinking of getting DML's 6255 M4A3 76mm "Battle of the Bulge" Sherman. I went to ebay and they had four main sprues laid out so I got to see some of the kit, except the tracks. In the kit you had the choice of turrets, loaders' split hatch as well as the oval one.
Any info on that kit, and how are the tracks.
