I have the Resicast DD Sherman with the full screen in the lowered position. Basically ALL the DD float stuff is one resin piece. Now, Dragon could do it in one of their vinyl type plastics just as easily.

If you have not seen the resicast kit, there is just a regular SHerman kit with a boat shaped resin float with a cut out to slip it over the hull. Add some braces and plumbing and thats it...

No less complicated than, say, Trumpeter's Sam 6 missile truck.
