| What was the absolute worst kit you ever worked on? For me, it was a 1/35 Esci Sdkfz 7 halftrack. The instructions were vague, nothing fitted properly, and paint simply refused to cling to the model even after repeated washing. The kit came with some German soldiers who were enormous! They were giants, even compared to 1/32 figures. They were also made of soft plastic, so were also virtually unpaintable. I was able to salvage a few parts for spares... but most of the kit ended up in the trash! This was one of the first 1/35 kits I ever built, so it's a miracle my interest in the hobby survived. |
