I can remember a kit I worked on (and finally gave up on) back in the early 80's of a Sky Sweeper U.S. anti-aircraft gun. I think it was a 75 or 76mm automatic gun. I don't even remember who made it, but I do remember that all the parts were in one big plastic bag inside the box. The trees were about the diameter of a pencil and each tree was like a solid block of plastic because the flash was so bad and so thick. There was so much cutting and filing involved it was more like one of those old Boy Scout woodcarving projects. You had a solid block of wood with a picture applied on all sides of the wood as a pattern for you to carve. Come to think of it, I never saw one of those finished either.
