Hi buds,
Though I'm French, I specialized in modeling the US armor from 1917 to 1945. Thus the Christie's T3 medium tank is a point of interest to me. Formely, the MB Models conversion was the only solution to convert the Zvezda BT5 russian tank. I had the opportunity to examine this conversion and find it both inaccurate and not complete at all. This would result in a pretty wrong conversion. Then Commander series models issued also a conversion for the same tank. Unfortunately, this was exactly the same MB Models kit with the same mistakes. This is to say that the only solution is to use some parts of the converson kit and scratchbuild the missing parts/details. Fortunately I managed to have a walkaround coverage of the only remaining unit preserved at the Aberdeen Museum. Hope this will bring the awaited answer. Cheers, Manu. |
