A lot of folks have been talking about this kit on other forums. The INITIAL Ram tanks were built on the M3 style hull, transmission and suspension. But the factory produced Ram OP's were very late in the production of the type. Many of these were built on the later style hull and running gear that went into Shermans as well.
In theory, you could use the Formations M4/M4A1 lower hull and late 3-piece nose as well as suspension and tracks of choice.
