I am working on one, see my BLOG, which I should update.
Out of the box it's really an excellent kit. You could add a few bolts that are missing around the commander's cupola.
I have most of the after-market kits for this kit too. The best barrel is from ArmourScale, Tamiya's muzzle brake is a little small, Aber's is HUGE! The best tracks are from Model Kasten, see my review, Fruilmodel's are just copies of a Tamiya link and therefore are not accurate. I have the three Aber kits for this kit, the fenders are great as is the general vehicle set. The storage bins I am not sold on.
The best reference is the old Darlington book, but there is a new Osprey book which looks good, I haven't seen it however.

PS: I think I still have an old set of Fruilmodel tracks for this kit, I assembled them a few years ago too. They are better that the kit tracks simply because you can sag them, however they offer no detail improvements. Assuming I haven't tossed them already I can try and find them and send them to you if you want... but I do recommend the Kasten tracks %100. |
