Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

First of all, thanks for all the input,
A fellow student called me from a hobby shop in London yesterday and asked me if he should pick up a kit for me. The first box he picked up was the tamiya cromwell, and it suited me more than fine. First I was afraid this was one of the old motorized kits..

It seems I should change the tracks, but I´m uncertain where to acquire modelkasten, and if it´s worth the extra work. I´ve heard some people say modelkasten is a nightmare to work with but it looks like a dream when finished. I´ve worked with friul before and thought that was a tough cookie! But accepting new challenges is all a part of the hobby, so I guess I should jump to it. I´m still kind of new to afv building and painting, so I feel building a new vehicle is like a movietrailer for a greater project in the future. So, I guess I´ll go for an Aber PE set, and "save" the resin conversions for a later date.

Paul: what do you mean when the muzzle is too large? cartoony-large or just slightly oversized?
