Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Look Clement, I see what you're saying, but what I'm saying is that perhaps we should interpret what Dragon has said differently...

When they say the 'most accurate kit' and they're talking about one of their Tigers or something like that which is relatively common place, we all, I believe, have the right to be picky...you have a standard in which to gague one kit over another...like for sure, most anyone is going to build a DML Tiger I late over a Tamiya or Italeri Tiger I late...

When you get something like the Vorpanzer IV E or whatever and they say 'the most accurate kit'...well duh! Who else EVER made that kit? There's probably some people out there that have done some scratch building to replicate that, but I mean, come on...most everyone probably never even knew about the Vorpanzer IV E until Dragon made the kit....so reasonably, it is the most accurate kit because it's the only kit....

So really, such a claim by Dragon is not really correct, but at the same time, it's not as if it's a fallacy lol

I will say though that I tend to believe that Dragon focuses on the knick-knacks more so than they actually should...like including tons of p/e (at least relative to other brands)....

We all want the best and most accuarate kits and blah, blah, blah, (I'm that way) but at the same time, we should be greatful for what we have...
