Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Pete,
I'd go along with everything Andy has said, but if time and money will allow, it's worth considering the Resicast up-date kit or one of the conversions. The big problem with the Tamiya kit is that the tracks and sprockets only bear a slight resemblance to the real thing. The Resicast kit corrects this and provides a lot of improvements for the rest of the kit. They do some good figures aswell.
The other alternative is to correct the problem with MK tracks, or very liberally cover the kit parts in mud.
