The positions of 4 conical bolt heads on the upper rear armor do not align properly with engine room hatches, as pointed out by Clement in another thread. These bolts are there to hold some structure inside the engine compartment, thus, must be at particular positions relative to the hatches. DML’s two ausf E kits, 3 in 1 and Vorpanzer, got them wrong too. These bolts are obscured by the smoke discharger in ausf E, and can be ignored if you like. But, they are quite visible on ausf D.

Given the fact that DML’s old ausf F1/F2/G/J kits (and Tamiya kits too) have these bolts right, it is rather strange that their newer, and supposedly better-engineered ausf E and D kits got them wrong.

(This is ausf J. But, these four bolts are considered to be in the same positions as in ausf D.)
