Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Hello, I am interested in buying a German half-track as my next model. Which kit is the most historically accurate, and the best quality? Do you think I am ready to try one, or should I wait and develop more skills(I've only done 1 model before, a Sturm IV from Tamiya, it's almost finished, not painted, sort of "on hold." :P )??? Which online dealers carry them?? I would love all the advice and help I can get.

Andrew

P.S. If I am not ready for the half track, I also like those strange German armor truck things with a strange, rotund looking body, a sort of diamond-shaped turret on top, and a machine gun or something in it? Does anyone know this? I have seen a model of it, but I can't remember the name. Maybe like SDKFZ .222 or something? Thanks.
