Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Jim,

My vote, for whatever it's worth, would be DML's M4A1dry storage, mid-production, 75 mm gun tank, what ever designation you would want to give it. I like the cast hull and I found the kit pretty accurate and the missing details easy to add.

I have the M4A1w(76) by DML that seems very good but I haven't built it or really scrutinized it yet. There are some disturbing things about the kit that modelers have addressed in the past that DML seems to have ignored on this version of the Sherman that Tiger fans would be making a big stink about if it was it happened on that vehicle. I guess I just can't help giving a dig into the fact that DML and others seem to think allied modelers, especially Sherman nuts, aren't quite as particular about the detail as German theme modelers.
