Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

I test fitted the superstructure to a better chassis, and unfortunately the Tamiya part is too wide to adapt without surgery (look at Paul's photo and you'll see how it overlaps the fenders). The 1975 Tamiya Panzer IV models were all made too wide to accommodate the standard morization pack for their kits. In addition, the angle of the gun in its ball mount is off (compare with the Dragon version to see what I mean). A resin aftermarket item mated to a suitable hull would probably be a better route.
