Thanks guys for the information.
I'll leave the wheels alone, as indeed, they are almost completly hidden by the side armor and skirts. I'll shorten the track as you suggested, cause I don't feel the need of buying expensive replacements. They too are almost hidden, except when viewing from the front or rear, but I guess a little dirt may do the trick.
