Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

As others have pointed out, the Italeri kit uses the 1944 production M4A1 hull with the large hatches. There is no documentation that this hull was ever available for the M32B1. The early M4A1 hull and the earlier suspension would be most common. If you're ambitious, you could do a plain vanilla M32 with the Tamiya M4 welded hull (you'd still need the early suspension, as Tamiya includes the later style in their kit as well). Other variants included M32B2 on a Marine M4A2 chassis (the promised Dragon kit could be a donor). Or a US Marine Korean War M32A1B3 on a late "easy eight" M4A3 chassis with the wide tracks.
