I'm building this kit now (FM11) and it is a very good kit. Has the feel of the later Tamiya kits. The plastic appears to be the same as used by Tamiya.
Suprisingly, the kit has several sink marks in hard to fix places. The hatches needed some attention as they fited too well and would have been invisable when glued in place.
An intresting oddity is that the suspension bogies from Tamiya Kit No. MM175 Type 97 Chi-Ha fits the Fine Molds FM11 kit suspension arms perfectly. Tends to make me think that the hull is an improved Tamiya copy! No open sponsons either.
I would give the kit four stars due to the sink marks. |
