Zvezda's only real improvement in the modern armour area is to remane DML's T-80U SMT m1989 to it's correct title: T-80UD. Also, they did a update of the BTR-80 to the BTR-80A with its new turret. Very nice update.
Modern Russian kits from Zvezda are re-pops of DML's kits. I have not seen a Zvezda kit that is a copy, all have been repops. Italeri also has repops of DML kits. So, unfortunately, no new moldings or corrections of kits.
