Al, you didn’t want to see the original thread, it was ugly and immature on my half. My first post was a bit critical of the suspension on the new Lee kit. I have been on and off working on a backdated Italeri Priest which shared the same suspension.

My thoughts on the Academy Lee was how great it would be for a number of projects, I really had no interest on building a Lee out of it. My two in waiting early Ram conversions were on the mind. I have ABM Lee and Grant kits that will be built when I feel like having a Lee or Grant. The mention of these kits I guess made the post even worse.

When I read the responses, I was irked and foolishly replied with vulgarity; one even called me a rivet counter! There was so much anger in the response that I just flew off the handle. I felt we can discuss accuracy issues on a modeling forum, something I will never do again. I first read about the bogie issue from a post by Frank D before ever seeing the model so my eyes were drawn to the error when I seen the kit. If I haven’t read Franks review, would I have noticed the error on my own? Who knows.

Now I will build only Trucks :)
