Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

1) I have never seen the late low cupla in North Africa photos and I have poured through many. As far as I know they were used by the Ausreailians. The USSR I'm not sure about.

2) If you mean the heavy spudded track seen on most Austrailian Matilda's, yes, that track was used in the desert as well.

3) Matilda was a great early war tank but by the time of El Alamein it was withdrawn from use as a battle tank. At El Alamein you see Matilda's converted to flail tanks to blow the mine fields.

PS- A little bird told me Firestorm will be releasing a desert early Matilda conversion soon.
