Well on my way home from work, I stopped in to The Boardwalk Hobby Shop in Cincinnati and bought the 1/25 scale Tiger. Despite the smell of cigarettes, the model is unopened and untouched. Even had the 1969 product catalog in it! (didn't know they offered so many 1/25 scale tanks; wirblewind? Jagdpanzer?)
All in all it looks like a C+ but just having a Tamiya kit in a box this big is exciting.
Don't know if I have near enough skill to make this thing accurate and fully loaded, but it has peaked my interest in such scratch building excercises.
Thanks for everyone's advice and help.
