I'll finally get around to actually building a model...
Anyways, I asked about the hobbyshop as we had (one of the very few) a small storefront "LHS" in Carnegie, outside of Pittsburgh.
The front of the store was models of all kinds, the back of the store was a ceramics shop. Between the model guy up front and the ladies in the back playing in clay, it was usually about as smoky as a bingo hall.
Sadly, he closed up his Carnegie store years ago and re-opened "somewhere".
He had a Tamiya 1/25th Cent but wouldn't budge on the price, although he did cut me a deal on the ex-Tam Academy JPanther. Which of course I haven't built yet. |
