Paul...I got mine at DX'06 in California last weekend. A number of vendors were selling them there at prices ranging from $30 (if you bought two) to $42. GreatModels WebStore has the "early release special" in stock (at $41.95) but shows the regular kit still on pre-order at $31.95. I seem to remember from talking with the DML guys at the show that the "offical" release date was June 30, but I could be wrong.
Yes, there are some good pictures in the Concord "4.Panzer-Division on the Eastern Front" book, though most of these also appear in other quoted sources.
By the way, my comments on the 5.0cm variant were off-target. Roy Chow pointed me to pictures of the beastie.
