I'll check that discussion out. I'm building mine in a dio with a track blown off and the crew surrendering to German troops. Knowing how those chandelles were used and attached will help me more accurately construct the "debris spread" around the broken tank tread. There is a wonderful photo In Steve's old Squadron/Signal "Blitzkrieg" book showing a Char B1 bis from the back with a track blown off that has been very helpful to me. If you have access to this book there are some good photos of tanks used by all combatants in the 1939 and 1940 campaigns.
