Take a brisk walk through the web regarding the Centurion in Vietnam, and you will notice that half to most of the VN Centurions didn't have covers installed. I personally witnessed this myself while in VN.
But.. Agreed. Tissue paper & white glue is an excellent/easy choice for making your own cover.
