| Subject: | Verlinden Sherman turret and hull | |
| Date: | Aug 14, 2006 |

Hello all;
I was recently given two Verlinden kits/items and was looking for some feedback on their good and bad points.
The first was Verlinden #317 Sherman 75mm turret and the second was the Verlinden #327 M4 composite hull. Do either of these items have a fatal flaw or can they be used and with what corrections? Do any plastic kits (not resin or aftermarket) come with a better rendition of these items?
It seems to me that the applique armour on the turret is way too thick and I wonder about the type of grill on the composite hull. Any thoughts/comments/corrections before their use would be appreciated.
Why I keep going to the dark-side (Shermans) when I'm a German armour guy I'll never know. LOL
Thanks in advance;
