I have found that if I mix the Green Putty with my Testor's Liquid Cement that I can get a nice consistancy that I can brush or drop into the sink holes. I just add more cement to the mixture if it begins to get too sticky. You can add more mixture on a second pass to "top off" the hole if needed. It tends to almost self-level as it dries requiring little sanding.
