Martin, I have scans of an old magazine article that backdated the Italeri M7 Priest, I believe they used Tamiya Grant nose. It also has good line drawings.
I have been in contact with a Korean War veteran whom was a section chief using M7's in Korea. He explained to me how his vehicle was modified by cutting out the floor so that the 105 could fire at nearly 90 degree arc, he told me it was needed as there were times they needed to hit the other side of the hill they were at. Interesting, he gave me some photos too. That might be cool if building a later M7.
