Pawel,
The first DML Easy 8s used the old Italaerie Sherman hull that required a lot of modification. No one until now has made a truely Easy 8 lower hull. Even the M50 and M51 did not have an Easy 8 lower hull. Also the original T23 turret had some shape problems not to mention an inverted and backwards mantlet.
The suspension on this new kit is made to be workable and the details that I have looked at thus far seem extrememly accurate. the biggest plus is the lower hull. It is right on for detail and is an easy 8 lower hull. what impressed me th most was the lower row of bolts for the transmission (first one to my knowledge on a Sherman) and the beveled corners of the lower hull edge for the inner road wheels to clear. Just awesome!
