Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Just features different decals for that particular tank of the 503rd battalion in the fall of 1944. It was one of the tanks photographed in Budapest during the counter coup in October. The Germans propped up the pro-Nazi government with a show of force, and sent photographers to cover the operation. These pictures are among the best of the official shots and turn up in almost every King Tiger book.
Otherwise it's a stock King Tiger with production turret and double link tracks. Comes with photoetch parts and metal barrel but not all the bells and whistles in the Premium early (Porsche turret) King Tiger. You'll need to add your own Zimmerit.
