In regard to the fume extractor: There is a small, postage stamp sized errata slip in the box that directs the builder to widen the hole in the front part of the fume extractor so it fits over the muzzle of the main gun. I used a tapered file, just a few quick turns and it popped right over the barrel end. A bit of Mr. Surfacer 500 will fill the tiny gap left around the barrel. No need to chop and channel.
