Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

There are two different series of MK tracks.

The older K series are assembled the same as the DML tracks, though they tend to be more sharp in detail and not as sloppy in the assembly. A definite upgrade in that sense.

The SK series are more fiddly, somewhat fragile, but not too bad in assembly. If you are careful, they are workable and give a very nice hang to them when appropriate. Or, you could also glue them solid as well if you want.

But the Sherman tracks, BEWARE!!! Those things are the uber-part-count monsters of the modelling world. The rubber pads are I think 4 pieces each. That doesn't include the end connectors. I'll stick with AFV Club or RHPS thank you.
