Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Patrizio,

I am assuming you mean gun tanks that actually served in combat. From what I know the following have yet to see the light of day as an injected molded styrene kit.

M4 direct vision (used in North Africa and US in Mediterranian)
M4A1 direct vision (used in North Africa and by US in Mediterranian)
M4A2 direct vision (used in North Africa)
M4A4 direct vision (some were used as Fireflys)
M4A2 with cast hoods ( a lot used by the Free-French)
M4A3 mid production ( a few sent to Europe, most kept stateside for training)
M4 wet storage (mostly 105 howitzer version)
M4E8 ( a few sent to the Phillipines)
DD tanks
mine roller
flail
dozer blade (VVSS & HVSS versions)

Well that's what I kbnow of. DML made a composite M4 at one time but it wasn't very good. Most of the resin hulls were better.
