You are right about the ease of the conversion. It is on my "to do list" but first I have to finish my Mk.V and the Mk.Vc.
The Ic was used i numbers by the Polish in Italy.
There are many pictures from the 1946 Lareto parade, most of them in OD and large names in yellow on the sides.
CMD's Firefly turret comes with one marking options for this tank. I have two of this turret and will most likely not build two identical tanks. Email me and I'll send one set of the decals if you're interested.
When it comes to books, there is one book from Rossagraph which is sort of a modellers guide with a project running through a large part of the book together with tons of pics of the real thing.
