Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Michel,
I've tried this one and it's not a great fit atall, as you've discovered. I reckon the only way to get it on is to leave off the stake sides, pair down the resin around the bottom of the piece until it's wafer thin, then give it a good long blast with a hairdyer until it's willing to stretch just a little. It's a lot of bother for something that should slot on and for the price you can a get a full Heller GMC with a plastic tilt which does slot straight onto the Tamiya kit!
